This Memorial was unveiled on 7th July 1998. The Titanic Historical Society Inc. and the Irish Titanic Historical Society with the members of the Memorial Committee worked tirelessly over a number of years to provide a fitting memorial to the victims of the great ship which hauled its anchor for the last time and sailed out from Ireland to its final tragedy in the Atlantic.
